Empowering Parents and Students with Early Childhood Assessm
At A+ Tutoring & Assessment Services, we provide comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to identify learning strengths and weaknesses, determine eligibility for special education programming, and guide instructional planning.
Our team is made up of passionate educators who are dedicated to helping students succeed. With years of experience in the field, our educators have the knowledge and expertise needed to provide top-notch educational services.
Please reach us at info@aplusacademic.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.
A full comprehensive evaluation can vary from two to eight hours. A diagnostician will discuss specific time needed at the time your appointment is scheduled.
You may contact us by phone at 832.323.9210, via email at info@aplusacademic.org, or through the website. A diagnostician or psychologist will then discuss your inquiry to determine evaluation needs.
Parents with children ages three through six should remain during the evaluation. For students over the age of six, parents are welcome to stay, but are not required.
If the required paperwork was not submitted before the evaluation appointment, please bring it on the day of testing. A diagnostician will contact you before your appointment should any paperwork or information still be needed.
We will provide supplies, water and snacks; however, if your child has an allergy, please let us know and feel free to provide snacks for the testing appointment.

Yes. We can administer the same rating scales used to make this determination. However, to determine a need for special education programming in Texas schools, a medical diagnosis is also required.
Guidelines to receive accommodations are as follows:
Our full psycho-educational battery satisfies the requirement for documentation of a disability. Your child's school would need to provide documentation of accommodations used while at school.
It is recommended your child is evaluated while on medication so that emotional or behavioral conditions are separated from the academic/learning concern.
A follow-up conference will be scheduled to review evaluation results and answer any questions you may have. During the conference, the diagnostician and/or psychologist will also review recommendations for parents and school personnel to address the child's needs. Parents will be provided with a detailed written report that outlines the evaluation results and recommendations. Students over the age of 13 are welcome to attend and participate in the conference. The follow-up conference usually lasts one to two hours.
We offer face-to-face and online tutoring for student s in grades K-12. We also provide specialty classes during the day to homeschoolers. Click on the tutoring and homeschool tabs under Services for more information. You may also call 346.353.9210 or email info@aplusacademic.org to address any other questions about tutoring.
Evaluation and tutoring fees may be paid by cash, check, credit/debit card, or PayPal.
