Psycho-educational Evaluations
Our comprehensive psycho-educational evaluation provides a thorough assessment of a child's cognitive and academic achievement. We used norm-referenced instruments to indicate comparison to peers. Assessment results are used to diagnose specific learning disabilities, determine eligibility for special programming and placement, determine appropriate accommodations and modifications, support instructional planning, and more.
Each comprehensive evaluation includes a detailed written report with a summary and interpretation of each assessment, recommendations based on the child's specific needs, and a follow-up conference to review and discuss evaluation results and recommendations.
Early Childhood Screenings & Psycho-educational Evaluations
Our early childhood evaluations provide parents with the diagnostic data needed to make decisions regarding appropriate school placement. Assessments measure learning strengths and weaknesses in the areas of intellectual achievement, writing, visual, and motor skills, and achievement in reading (pre-reading skills), math, language and vocabulary.
